The Opportunity

An ambitious fintech initiative is seeking a Senior Fintech Software Engineer to help design and build highly scalable financial platforms capable of supporting digital payments, merchant services, customer onboarding, financial analytics, and enterprise-grade transaction processing.
This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about solving complex financial challenges through technology while building products that directly influence the future of digital commerce and financial inclusion.
You will collaborate with architects, product strategists, cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, and business stakeholders to develop sophisticated fintech solutions capable of serving large-scale financial ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop enterprise-scale fintech applications.
• Build high-performance transaction processing systems.
• Develop payment gateway integrations.
• Create API-driven financial services platforms.
• Design customer onboarding and KYC workflow systems.
• Build merchant management solutions.
• Develop financial reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Create microservices-based architectures.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on secure software development.
• Support cloud-native infrastructure deployment.
• Participate in architectural reviews and technical planning.
• Develop automated testing and quality assurance frameworks.
• Contribute to fintech product innovation initiatives.
Technical Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, .NET, or Golang.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of fintech systems and digital payments infrastructure.
