Role Context
This role is focused on the design of internal governance, risk, and control frameworks that allow fintech platforms to scale responsibly within regulated financial environments. The Senior Fintech Risk Governance & Operating Model Designer treats risk management as a structural discipline, embedded into how fintech platforms operate day-to-day.
The role is fully remote, with strategic orientation toward Kuwait-aligned financial systems and GCC-wide regulatory expectations.
Core Responsibilities

Design comprehensive risk governance frameworks spanning operational, financial, technology, and third-party risks.

Translate regulatory requirements into internal operating models, control structures, and decision workflows.

Define escalation, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms for financial and operational risk events.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed controls directly into system processes.

Develop documentation, policies, and governance artifacts suitable for regulatory review and institutional audits.

Continuously assess risk frameworks against platform evolution and market complexity.
Required Expertise

Strong background in fintech risk management, compliance, or financial governance.
