This hybrid role combines remote strategic management with periodic in-country collaboration across operational and stakeholder functions.

• Seamless merchant onboarding and transaction execution
• High operational efficiency across payment systems

Primary Responsibilities

1. Product Operations Management

• Monitor day-to-day performance of digital payment products and merchant platforms.
• Improve onboarding flows for merchants, vendors, and payment partners.
• Ensure smooth product functionality across payment channels and settlement workflows.

2. Merchant Solutions & Payment Optimization

• Analyze transaction success rates, chargeback patterns, and payment failures.
• Improve merchant-facing financial workflows including settlements and reconciliation.
• Support optimization of payment gateway performance and operational efficiency.

3. Cross-Functional Product Delivery

• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and customer operations teams.
• Translate operational challenges into product roadmap priorities.
• Support feature launches and post-launch operational monitoring.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Build KPIs for operational efficiency, payment success, and merchant satisfaction.
• Deliver executive reporting on product health and financial operations.
• Recommend automation opportunities for repetitive operational processes.

Required Expertise

• Product operations in fintech or payments
• Merchant acquiring and payment lifecycle understanding
• Financial workflow optimization
• Stakeholder management across technical and business teams

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6–10+ years in fintech operations, product operations, or payment systems
• Strong understanding of merchant services and financial workflows
• Experience managing hybrid teams and distributed stakeholders
