Role Summary
Qatar’s financial ecosystem is expanding into next-generation payment intelligence, advanced merchant-acquiring layers, and deeply integrated consumer-fintech experiences. This role demands a strategist who can blend behavioral economics, data-driven product thinking, and regional payments infrastructure into a cohesive product vision.
As the Senior Fintech Product Intelligence & Digital Payments Strategist, you will guide conception-to-execution cycles of regional payment platforms, merchant-tech innovations, embedded finance capabilities, and cross-industry financial engagement engines—delivered remotely with Qatar-based market alignment.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Strategic Product Vision

Conduct deep analysis of Qatar’s digital payments evolution, including merchant acceptance patterns, SME transaction behaviors, and cross-channel consumer payment journeys.

Build multiyear product roadmaps incorporating tokenized payments, wallet-driven micro-commerce flows, real-time settlement interfaces, and loyalty-linked transaction ecosystems.

Evaluate competitive and regulatory dynamics shaping Qatar’s fintech innovations.
2. Product Architecture & Design Leadership

Translate behavioral insights into frictionless payment experiences optimized for mobile-first usage, QR-based rails, and omnichannel fintech interactions.

Own the specification of digital payments modules: onboarding flows, smart-routing engines, value-protection layers, merchant settlement cycles, and transaction intelligence dashboards.

Partner with engineering teams to produce modular, API-first product blueprints.
3. Advanced Analytics & Intelligence Modeling

Develop predictive frameworks for transaction behavior, merchant segmentation, and risk-scoring.

Utilize structured data, unstructured consumer trends, and real-time telemetry to guide product iteration cycles.
4. Stakeholder Alignment & Ecosystem Engagement

Lead remote cross-functional coordination with policy analysts, payments engineers, UX strategists, and regional adoption teams.

Present refined product theses and intelligence insights to senior leadership groups.
Ideal Profile

8–15 years in payments strategy, fintech product management, digital wallet ecosystems, or merchant-tech innovation.

Strong command of GCC digital payments dynamics, data-intelligence models, and consumer-fintech behavior.

Exceptional communication, analytical modeling ability, and cross-border product execution maturity.
