A globally expanding financial technology organization is seeking an accomplished Senior FinTech Microservices Developer to join its Enterprise Engineering Centre in Bahrain. This is a rare opportunity to build resilient financial platforms that support digital banking, cross-border payment services, intelligent financial automation, and real-time transaction processing for clients across the GCC and international markets.

You will become part of an elite engineering team responsible for designing cloud-native financial ecosystems where scalability, cybersecurity, resilience, and innovation are embedded into every line of code. Every solution you develop will contribute to the future of digital finance.

What You’ll Deliver

Enterprise Software Engineering

• Design and develop high-performance fintech applications.
• Build scalable microservices using modern architectural principles.
• Develop secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate payment gateways, banking platforms, and third-party financial services.
• Build event-driven systems capable of processing millions of daily transactions.
• Improve software performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.

Cloud Engineering

• Deploy cloud-native applications using Kubernetes.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• Build CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Enhance system observability and monitoring.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Engineering Leadership

• Review software architecture.
• Mentor software engineers.
• Promote secure software development practices.
• Participate in innovation workshops.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of enterprise software development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Go, or Kotlin.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of distributed systems and API security.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
