Role Overview
This position is designed for an experienced fintech professional responsible for architecting large-scale digital financial infrastructure. The role focuses on building and governing core fintech platforms that support payment processing, transaction orchestration, and system interoperability at international scale.
Operating remotely, the Senior Fintech Infrastructure Architect will define how complex financial systems are structured, integrated, and evolved to meet long-term performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end digital payment and transaction-processing platforms, from initiation through settlement.

Define system integration strategies across core banking layers, payment engines, and API-based services.

Ensure platforms meet international standards for availability, fault tolerance, security, and data integrity.

Collaborate with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate financial requirements into system designs.

Produce detailed architecture documentation, technical standards, and implementation guidelines.
Required Experience & Competencies

10–15 years of experience in fintech architecture, digital banking systems, or financial infrastructure engineering.

Strong understanding of transaction flows, payment clearing logic, and distributed system design.

Proven ability to design systems that operate reliably under high transaction volume and regulatory scrutiny.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to document complex architectures clearly.
