Role Overview

The Senior Fintech Ecosystem Strategy Architect leads the strategic development of Kuwait’s next-generation financial ecosystem—integrating digital banking, intelligent payment frameworks, interoperable data layers, and advanced compliance systems into a unified architecture. The role requires designing long-horizon fintech transformation pathways aligned with national innovation goals, regulatory modernization efforts, and multi-stakeholder platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end strategic architecture for Kuwait’s digital finance ecosystem, covering payments, open banking, customer identity, digital onboarding, and enterprise-grade data flows.

• Create future-ready financial platform blueprints integrating open APIs, scalable microservices, distributed compute capabilities, and intelligent automation layers.

• Lead strategic integration of AI-driven analytics for personalization, predictive fraud detection, and financial behavior modeling.

• Define cross-market interoperability frameworks supporting regional remittance corridors, GCC settlement standards, and advanced digital authentication.

• Conduct in-depth regulatory mapping to ensure strategic alignment with Kuwait’s financial regulatory directives, privacy frameworks, and digital transformation objectives.

• Build architecture governance standards to ensure continuous availability, operational resilience, and secure data exchange across the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial technology strategy, digital banking architecture, or large-scale fintech systems design.

• Advanced expertise in open banking frameworks, digital identity systems, API governance, and cloud-native platform engineering.

• Strong background in financial data governance, AI-driven analytics, and enterprise security controls.

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Digital Architecture, or related field preferred.
