Position Overview
Kuwait’s fintech sector is undergoing a decisive transformation driven by digitization, decentralized finance adoption, and data-driven inclusion strategies. The Senior Fintech Ecosystem Strategist will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing ecosystem-level fintech frameworks—bridging digital payment corridors, AI-powered regulatory oversight, and financial innovation policies.
Primary Responsibilities

Develop and operationalize Kuwait’s national fintech growth blueprint, focusing on digital payment interoperability and AI governance in financial services.

Lead strategic policy dialogues and digital transformation initiatives across banks, payment gateways, and fintech startups to enhance cross-sector collaboration.

Architect scalable financial APIs and cloud-native payment networks, leveraging advanced encryption, tokenization, and fraud analytics.

Establish a regulatory technology (RegTech) sandbox framework to accelerate compliance automation and data transparency for emerging fintech players.

Oversee innovation mapping, market analytics, and digital infrastructure partnerships to strengthen Kuwait’s regional fintech footprint.
Technical & Strategic Competence

10+ years’ experience in fintech ecosystem development, regulatory strategy, or financial systems innovation.

Strong technical fluency in DLT infrastructure, RegTech automation, and payment network design principles.

Expertise in compliance governance (AML, KYC, FATF standards), digital transformation, and risk intelligence systems.

Proven experience in orchestrating public-private fintech collaborations across global financial jurisdictions.
