Role Overview
Cross-border payments are heavily influenced by foreign exchange dynamics and liquidity availability. This role is for a specialist who can optimize payment corridors, ensuring efficient FX execution, liquidity management, and cost optimization.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and manage cross-border payment corridors, optimizing cost and speed
- Develop strategies for FX pricing, hedging, and liquidity allocation
- Integrate payment systems with banks, liquidity providers, and FX platforms
- Monitor market conditions to adjust pricing and routing strategies
- Build analytics tools for corridor performance and profitability
- Ensure compliance with cross-border regulations and financial standards
- Track KPIs such as transfer costs, settlement times, and corridor volumes
Technical Stack
- Tools: FX trading platforms, analytics systems
- Data: Real-time market data feeds
- Programming: Python, SQL
- Infrastructure: Cloud-based financial systems
- Integration: APIs connecting payment networks
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 9+ years in FX markets, payments, or treasury
- Strong understanding of foreign exchange and liquidity management
- Experience with cross-border payment systems
- Ability to manage complex financial operations
