A fast-growing digital finance ecosystem in Oman is currently recruiting a Senior Fintech Cloud Infrastructure & Financial Platforms Architect to design, optimize, and secure enterprise cloud infrastructures supporting digital banking platforms, transaction processing ecosystems, financial APIs, and large-scale fintech operational environments.

This opportunity is designed for highly experienced cloud engineering and fintech infrastructure professionals capable of architecting resilient, scalable, and secure financial technology ecosystems supporting enterprise digital transformation.

The selected candidate will play a strategic role in shaping next-generation fintech cloud environments enabling real-time payments, embedded financial services, intelligent transaction systems, and cloud-native banking technologies.

Strategic Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise cloud architectures supporting fintech transaction systems, digital banking platforms, and financial service infrastructures.
• Lead infrastructure modernization projects involving cloud migration, container orchestration, distributed transaction systems, and fintech scalability optimization.
• Develop secure infrastructure frameworks supporting payment processing environments, financial APIs, merchant ecosystems, and operational intelligence platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen cloud security controls, encryption standards, disaster recovery frameworks, and fintech operational resilience.
• Optimize infrastructure performance relating to transaction throughput, system availability, latency reduction, and operational continuity.
• Support DevOps automation initiatives involving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and cloud-native deployment environments.
• Participate in enterprise fintech transformation programs involving intelligent transaction ecosystems, digital financial modernization, and API banking infrastructures.
• Monitor infrastructure health, operational performance, and cloud resource optimization across enterprise financial environments.
• Develop technical governance standards, infrastructure documentation, scalability strategies, and cloud operational best practices.
• Mentor engineering teams while promoting enterprise reliability engineering principles and cloud architecture excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical disciplines.
• 7–12 years of experience in cloud engineering, fintech infrastructure architecture, enterprise systems engineering, or digital banking technology environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and distributed systems engineering.
• Experience supporting payment systems, transaction infrastructures, financial APIs, and enterprise fintech operational platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud security governance, infrastructure automation, and fintech operational resilience strategies.
• Strong understanding of microservices architectures, API ecosystems, and cloud-native financial platforms.
