Executive Role Overview

A rapidly expanding financial technology ecosystem in Riyadh is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Fintech Blockchain Developer to architect, build, and optimize enterprise-grade blockchain solutions powering digital payments, smart contract ecosystems, tokenized financial operations, cross-border settlements, and secure digital asset infrastructure.

This role is designed for professionals who understand that blockchain development in fintech is not merely about decentralized code deployment—it is about building trust architecture, operational transparency, financial security, and scalable systems capable of supporting institutional-grade financial services.

The successful candidate will work across mission-critical platforms involving payment rails, merchant settlements, programmable treasury operations, wallet ecosystems, tokenized transactions, reconciliation automation, and distributed ledger integrations across modern banking environments.

You will collaborate with backend engineers, payment architects, DevOps specialists, compliance leaders, cybersecurity teams, treasury operations professionals, and executive stakeholders to create blockchain-powered financial systems where security, resilience, and compliance are non-negotiable.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based platforms supporting payments, settlements, and enterprise financial services
• Build and deploy secure smart contracts for escrow workflows, transaction automation, programmable settlements, and financial agreement execution
• Develop distributed ledger integrations for wallets, merchant acquiring systems, treasury operations, and transaction reconciliation platforms
• Optimize blockchain transaction efficiency, gas costs, settlement speed, and network reliability across enterprise financial operations
• Create secure APIs connecting blockchain infrastructure with banking systems, payment gateways, and enterprise applications
• Implement custody workflows, wallet security layers, transaction monitoring systems, and blockchain audit trails
• Support fraud prevention controls, suspicious transaction validation systems, and compliance reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on node infrastructure, blockchain deployment automation, and production resilience
• Strengthen security architecture involving private key protection, digital signatures, encryption models, and secure asset handling
• Participate in code reviews, architecture governance, and technical mentorship across blockchain engineering teams
• Troubleshoot production incidents and improve platform recovery strategies across financial systems
• Support long-term digital asset platform modernization and fintech transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong blockchain specialization
• Deep expertise in Solidity, smart contract development, and distributed ledger architecture
• Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger, or equivalent blockchain ecosystems
• Experience with backend development using Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or Java for blockchain integrations
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles, wallet security models, digital signatures, and custody frameworks
• Understanding of payment systems, transaction lifecycle management, and fintech operational architecture
• Knowledge of blockchain security standards, secure coding principles, and financial compliance frameworks
• Prior experience in digital payments, fintech platforms, or enterprise financial systems is highly preferred
• Strong debugging, optimization, and analytical problem-solving capability
