An ambitious fintech venture operating within Dubai’s rapidly expanding digital payments ecosystem is seeking an experienced Senior Fintech Backend Developer to design and scale mission-critical financial systems capable of supporting millions of transactions across multiple markets.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of banking technology, payment infrastructure, API architecture, fraud prevention, digital wallets, and next-generation financial services.

You will play a central role in designing highly available backend platforms that power merchant acquiring, payment orchestration, real-time transaction processing, virtual account management, settlement engines, and financial data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable microservice architectures for fintech applications.
• Build and maintain payment processing systems with high availability.
• Develop secure APIs for banking integrations and financial partners.
• Create transaction monitoring and reconciliation frameworks.
• Optimize database performance for high-volume financial transactions.
• Implement fraud detection and risk management logic.
• Design real-time settlement and clearing mechanisms.
• Develop automated compliance and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure adherence to financial security and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
