Position Overview

A global financial technology organization focused on providing modern digital financial services across international markets is seeking a Senior Financial Technology Data Governance & Digital Payments Compliance Manager to strengthen governance frameworks within digital payment infrastructure.

This role focuses on ensuring that financial data systems and digital payment platforms operate in accordance with international regulatory standards and best practices for financial data protection, privacy, and transaction monitoring. The successful candidate will work with distributed teams across engineering, compliance, risk management, and product development to maintain strong governance over fintech systems.

The position requires expertise in fintech compliance frameworks, digital financial infrastructure, and financial data governance principles.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Data Governance

• Develop and implement policies for managing financial data across fintech platforms

• Ensure proper classification, protection, and lifecycle management of financial data

• Establish governance frameworks supporting digital financial services

Digital Payments Compliance

• Monitor digital payment processes for regulatory compliance

• Support regulatory reporting related to transaction monitoring and financial operations

• Work with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with international fintech regulations

Risk Monitoring & Control

• Identify risks affecting digital financial systems and payment platforms

• Implement controls to prevent financial misconduct or operational failures

• Conduct regular reviews of fintech governance policies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate governance requirements into fintech systems

• Coordinate with legal and compliance departments on regulatory matters

• Provide advisory support on fintech compliance best practices

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare governance reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies

• Maintain documentation related to fintech compliance procedures

• Track key performance indicators for governance and regulatory activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Information Systems, or Financial Technology

• 6+ years of experience in fintech compliance, financial governance, or digital payment oversight

• Strong knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks and compliance practices

• Experience working with financial data management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in compliance or risk management

• Experience with international fintech operations

• Knowledge of digital payment infrastructure
