Architect the Digital Backbone of Modern Finance
A rapidly expanding financial technology organization is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Developer to engineer mission-critical software powering digital banking, payment processing, financial automation, and enterprise banking solutions across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
This opportunity is designed for technology professionals who thrive in high-performance environments where innovation, scalability, and security intersect. You will work alongside globally distributed engineering teams to develop sophisticated financial products capable of supporting millions of secure transactions while leveraging modern cloud-native technologies and intelligent automation.
Your Mission
As a key member of the Engineering & Innovation Division, you will:
- Design and develop enterprise-scale fintech applications.
- Build secure, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Engineer cloud-native financial platforms using microservices architecture.
- Integrate digital payment networks and financial messaging services.
- Develop intelligent automation for transaction processing.
- Improve application resilience, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Build reusable software frameworks and engineering libraries.
- Optimize database performance for high-volume financial workloads.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD deployment strategies.
- Participate in architecture governance and technical design reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers while promoting engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen application security.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Go.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Quarkus.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Agile software delivery.
