Position Overview
The Senior Director – RegTech, Data Intelligence & Compliance Innovation will oversee the strategic deployment of regulatory technology (RegTech) platforms that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics to automate financial oversight. This role integrates strategic governance, data ethics, and digital supervision frameworks to strengthen the UAE’s fintech compliance landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement RegTech solutions for automated compliance, AML/CFT monitoring, and regulatory reporting.

Architect cloud-based compliance intelligence systems integrating advanced data visualization and predictive analytics.

Lead integration of blockchain-enabled transparency tools and digital audit mechanisms.

Collaborate with financial regulators to establish digital oversight frameworks and cross-border data exchange protocols.

Manage data ethics, governance, and privacy programs across multiple fintech operators.

Oversee development of AI-based risk modeling and decision-support systems for real-time compliance monitoring.

Drive continuous innovation through research partnerships and RegTech consortium engagements.
Qualifications & Experience

Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Finance, Data Science, or Regulatory Technology.

Minimum 10 years of experience in fintech regulation, data governance, or compliance analytics.

Expertise in AI/ML applications for financial supervision and predictive risk analysis.

Proficiency in blockchain auditing, RegTech automation, and big data platforms.

Knowledge of GCC and international financial regulatory standards.
