Position Summary
The Senior Director – RegTech, Compliance Intelligence & Digital Risk will lead the strategic integration of regulatory technology (RegTech) solutions into financial ecosystems, driving automation, transparency, and intelligence-led supervision. The role involves creating and managing AI-powered governance platforms that transform compliance, monitoring, and financial data oversight across the UAE’s fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and deploy AI/ML-based RegTech frameworks for compliance automation and real-time regulatory monitoring.

Establish centralized compliance dashboards and predictive analytics models for risk detection.

Lead digital transformation projects to strengthen AML, fraud prevention, and data integrity systems.

Design scalable governance infrastructures using blockchain-enabled audit trails and smart compliance.

Coordinate with UAE regulatory authorities and fintech operators to ensure synchronized data governance.

Implement cloud-based supervision platforms enabling cross-institutional oversight and secure data exchange.

Supervise compliance analytics teams focused on modeling regulatory risk using big data and neural networks.
Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Finance, or RegTech Engineering.

10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, fintech risk management, or digital governance.

Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, data science pipelines, and RegTech automation systems.

Comprehensive understanding of AML/CFT standards, FATF guidelines, and UAE data protection laws.

Strong leadership in high-stakes fintech compliance and policy integration.
