Position Overview
The Senior Director of Fintech Data Governance & AI-Powered Regulatory Systems will lead the strategic design of a next-generation regulatory and data intelligence infrastructure for Qatar’s financial technology landscape. The role focuses on enabling autonomous regulatory intelligence, predictive compliance, and financial transparency across national and cross-border ecosystems.
This position is suited for a thought leader capable of merging AI ethics, digital governance, data interoperability, and policy innovation into a resilient ecosystem for future-ready fintech operations.
Core Responsibilities

Establish the national fintech data governance framework, aligning with GCC and global digital economy principles.

Lead creation of AI-powered regulatory analytics engines to monitor, predict, and enforce financial compliance dynamically.

Develop integrated RegTech and SupTech architectures to automate supervisory processes and ensure algorithmic auditability.

Design data lineage and traceability models that ensure transparency in digital asset movements and risk monitoring.

Collaborate with international agencies to harmonize data standards for digital banking, asset management, and open finance systems.

Champion AI ethics, privacy-by-design, and explainability standards in financial machine learning environments.

Oversee continuous cross-border data exchange frameworks leveraging cloud-native and blockchain-based interoperability.
Candidate Profile

Ph.D. or Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, Data Policy, or Financial Regulation.

10+ years in RegTech, data architecture, or digital financial governance.

Expert in AI risk management, compliance analytics, and data protection frameworks.

Comprehensive understanding of global data regulations (GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, and ISO data governance).

Skilled in strategic policy development and ecosystem coordination at national or international scale.
