Role Summary
The Senior Director of Embedded Finance Architecture & AI-Driven Consumer Systems will define the next evolutionary phase of Kuwait’s fintech innovation ecosystem — embedding financial intelligence directly into the technological and behavioral fabric of everyday life.
This is an architectural role of deep systemic complexity, demanding mastery across AI systems design, data interoperability, and contextual finance intelligence. The incumbent will construct embedded finance platforms integrating payments, savings, and micro-investment functionalities seamlessly within user ecosystems and IoT infrastructures.
Core Accountabilities

Embedded Architecture Design: Build open, scalable embedded-finance architectures using microservices and modular SDK frameworks.

AI Behavioral Systems: Develop cognitive engines capable of interpreting user transaction data, generating real-time financial insights, and predicting lifecycle behaviors.

Interoperable Ecosystem Engineering: Integrate financial APIs across retail, mobility, and telecom sectors for unified digital customer journeys.

Data Ethics & Governance: Enforce AI transparency, consent frameworks, and algorithmic accountability compliant with GCC privacy directives.

Innovation Acceleration: Lead applied research into context-aware finance using machine learning, reinforcement algorithms, and behavioral economics.
Required Expertise

Master’s or Ph.D. in AI Systems Engineering, Human-Centered Computing, or Financial Technology.

10+ years’ experience designing embedded or consumer-centric fintech systems.

Expertise in AI modeling, microservices orchestration, NLP frameworks, and digital payments integration.

Familiarity with data ethics governance, AI fairness protocols, and global fintech interoperability standards.
