Position Overview
The Senior Director of Blockchain & Decentralized Financial Infrastructure will lead the conceptualization, architecture, and strategic oversight of UAE’s next-generation decentralized financial systems. The role requires deep technological and regulatory expertise to build interoperable, secure, and globally compliant blockchain ecosystems capable of supporting tokenized finance, programmable assets, and cross-border trust networks.
The position operates at the frontier of decentralized digital infrastructure, where blockchain engineering, financial governance, and data integrity converge to define a new era of distributed value exchange and asset mobility.
Key Responsibilities

Design a comprehensive national blockchain framework that integrates financial institutions, digital asset platforms, and regulatory authorities.

Oversee deployment of DLT-based transaction networks to enable real-time settlement, digital asset issuance, and decentralized identity management.

Develop tokenized asset infrastructures supporting stablecoins, CBDCs, and multi-chain liquidity solutions.

Implement zero-knowledge proof systems and cryptographic verification mechanisms to ensure security and compliance.

Build cross-chain interoperability layers connecting institutional and decentralized networks for seamless value exchange.

Advise regulators on blockchain governance frameworks aligned with global standards from BIS, IMF, and OECD.

Drive institutional adoption of blockchain-enabled finance through scalable infrastructure, ethical data practices, and cybersecurity resilience.
Candidate Profile

Master’s or Ph.D. in Blockchain Engineering, Digital Finance, or Financial Cryptography.

10–15 years of leadership in DLT architecture, DeFi strategy, or digital asset infrastructure development.

Strong expertise in smart contract systems, distributed trust architectures, and digital asset compliance.

Understanding of UAE’s fintech innovation landscape and cross-border blockchain regulation.
