Position Summary
Saudi Arabia’s financial modernization strategy envisions a future where blockchain technology and regulatory innovation underpin the country’s digital asset ecosystem. The Senior Director of Blockchain Compliance & Digital Asset Infrastructure will lead the creation of governance, technology, and policy frameworks ensuring secure, transparent, and compliant digital finance operations.
Strategic Accountabilities

Design and deploy blockchain infrastructure governance models, ensuring traceability, regulatory auditability, and operational resilience.

Lead integration of AI-enhanced compliance systems, automating AML/KYC, smart contract monitoring, and risk event prediction.

Architect digital asset custody frameworks and tokenization platforms compatible with GCC regulatory standards.

Define interoperability standards enabling data portability, cross-chain communication, and decentralized finance (DeFi) supervision.

Collaborate with regional and international policymakers to align blockchain operations with SAMA and global FATF recommendations.

Oversee cybersecurity architecture to secure digital asset ecosystems against advanced cryptographic threats.
Technical & Strategic Expertise

12+ years in blockchain architecture, digital asset governance, or RegTech infrastructure.

Deep expertise in DLT network design, smart contract compliance, and token economy regulation.

Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, CMA, and global cybersecurity frameworks.

Proven track record in architecting fintech ecosystems integrating blockchain and AI for compliance automation.
