Position Summary
A data-centric fintech ecosystem is scaling its financial data platforms to support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and intelligent decision-making across payments, banking, and financial services.
To lead this initiative, the organization is seeking a Senior Director – Fintech Data Platforms, Analytics & Financial Decision Intelligence.
This role is responsible for building the data infrastructure and analytical capabilities that transform raw financial data into actionable insights. The objective is to enable smarter decision-making across product development, risk management, customer experience, and business strategy.
Core Responsibilities
Data Platform Architecture
- Design scalable data platforms for financial data processing.
- Build data pipelines for real-time and batch analytics.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
- Optimize storage and processing of large-scale financial datasets.
Financial Analytics & Intelligence
- Develop analytical models for financial insights and forecasting.
- Support decision-making across product, risk, and operations.
- Identify trends and patterns in financial data.
- Enable predictive analytics for business growth.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Establish data governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with financial data regulations.
- Maintain data security and privacy standards.
- Support audit and reporting requirements.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead teams of data engineers and analysts.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
- Align data strategy with organizational objectives.
- Drive a data-driven culture across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data platforms or analytics.
- Strong expertise in financial data systems.
- Experience with large-scale data processing technologies.
- Proven leadership in data-driven organizations.
