An internationally recognized fintech organization is seeking a Senior Digital Wallet Developer to design and engineer secure, high-performance digital wallet platforms that enable seamless consumer payments, merchant transactions, cross-border transfers, and embedded financial experiences.
As part of a globally distributed engineering team, you will build scalable payment solutions using cloud-native technologies, modern API ecosystems, and event-driven architectures that support millions of daily financial interactions. This role offers the opportunity to influence products that redefine how people pay, save, and manage money across the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-grade digital wallet platforms.
- Design secure payment authorization and transaction processing services.
- Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs for fintech integrations.
- Implement tokenization, encryption, and identity verification solutions.
- Create event-driven microservices supporting real-time financial transactions.
- Optimize application scalability, resilience, and latency.
- Integrate banking systems, merchant platforms, and payment gateways.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Product, Security, and QA teams.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Promote engineering excellence and continuous innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, or Go.
- Experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and API security.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
