As the Remote Senior Digital Payments Transformation Architect, you will lead a visionary mandate—architecting scalable, compliant, and future-ready digital payment ecosystems designed to redefine customer experience and institutional agility across retail, SME, and corporate banking environments.
Role Purpose
This strategic leadership role focuses on designing and optimizing multi-rail digital payment systems that integrate blockchain-based settlement, AI-powered risk modeling, and cloud-native financial orchestration frameworks. The incumbent will bridge global digital-finance best practices with UAE’s evolving regulatory and cross-border payment objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Architect high-performance, omnichannel digital payment ecosystems using ISO 20022 and Open Banking standards.

Drive large-scale modernization of legacy payment infrastructure into API-driven, real-time settlement systems.

Lead initiatives across e-wallet interoperability, biometric authentication, and tokenized asset payment gateways.

Integrate advanced AI-based fraud analytics, dynamic risk segmentation, and intelligent chargeback prevention engines.

Collaborate with UAE regulatory authorities, digital banks, and fintech accelerators to ensure systemic resilience.

Oversee cloud migration of core payment engines ensuring PCI DSS compliance and operational scalability.

Guide cross-functional teams in delivering regulatory sandboxes, regional pilot programs, and cross-GCC payment corridors.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or Digital Economics.

10+ years in fintech payments architecture, including experience in GCC or EU markets.

Deep knowledge of real-time payments, CBDC integration, and digital identity ecosystems.

Proven record designing payment orchestration layers within multi-cloud frameworks.
