Position Overview

An international fintech organization focused on digital financial services across the Middle East is seeking a Senior Digital Payments Strategy Analyst to support the development and optimization of digital payment ecosystems.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams responsible for payment infrastructure, financial analytics, and product innovation to enhance transaction performance and improve operational efficiency across digital financial channels.

This position requires strong expertise in payment systems, fintech analytics, regulatory frameworks, and digital financial services. The role is fully remote but aligned with the operational time zone of GCC financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Payment Strategy

• Analyze digital payment trends across the fintech industry

• Support the design of scalable payment infrastructure strategies

• Develop strategic recommendations to increase digital transaction volumes

• Monitor emerging fintech technologies influencing payment ecosystems

Transaction Performance Monitoring

• Track and evaluate payment success rates and processing efficiency

• Identify operational bottlenecks affecting transaction reliability

• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve payment processing issues

• Produce monthly and quarterly transaction performance reports

Market & Industry Research

• Conduct research on fintech market developments across GCC countries

• Evaluate competitive payment platforms and fintech products

• Identify new digital payment opportunities and partnership models

• Prepare market intelligence reports for leadership teams

Financial Data Analysis

• Perform data-driven analysis of payment transactions and customer behavior

• Generate insights to improve digital financial service adoption

• Develop predictive models for payment performance and fraud detection

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with fintech product teams and technology developers

• Support finance and compliance teams in regulatory reporting

• Coordinate with operations teams to improve payment reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or Financial Technology

• Minimum 5 years experience in fintech, digital payments, or financial services

• Experience working with digital payment platforms or payment gateways

• Strong knowledge of international digital financial infrastructure

• Ability to interpret complex financial data and generate strategic insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-border payment systems

• Knowledge of fintech regulatory frameworks in GCC markets

• Professional certifications in financial analytics or fintech

• Experience working in remote international teams
