Executive Role Overview

A rapidly evolving financial services ecosystem in Riyadh is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Digital Banking Operations Manager to lead operational excellence across modern banking channels, digital payment services, customer financial journeys, and enterprise fintech transformation initiatives.

This role is designed for professionals who understand that modern banking is no longer confined to traditional branch operations—it is driven by digital infrastructure, intelligent transaction management, customer trust architecture, compliance precision, and seamless financial service delivery across mobile-first ecosystems.

The successful candidate will oversee critical banking operations across digital onboarding, account servicing, payment execution, customer resolution frameworks, merchant settlement coordination, reconciliation controls, and service optimization for high-volume retail and corporate banking functions.

You will work closely with operations leadership, compliance teams, treasury functions, product specialists, customer experience teams, payment operations units, and executive stakeholders to ensure operational stability, regulatory alignment, and exceptional customer financial outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day digital banking operations across payments, account servicing, onboarding workflows, and customer financial support channels
• Manage operational controls for transaction processing, merchant settlements, inward/outward transfers, and reconciliation activities
• Improve customer service frameworks across digital banking platforms, mobile banking services, and embedded finance channels
• Oversee complaint resolution, payment disputes, failed transaction investigations, and service recovery processes
• Strengthen internal controls across operational risk, transaction monitoring, and financial process governance
• Collaborate with treasury and finance teams to ensure settlement integrity and financial reporting accuracy
• Support automation initiatives for workflow efficiency, fraud reduction, and operational transparency
• Drive service-level improvements across customer support, resolution teams, and operational delivery functions
• Ensure compliance with GCC banking regulations, audit requirements, and internal governance frameworks
• Develop operational dashboards, performance reporting structures, and executive service insights
• Lead cross-functional improvement programs supporting long-term digital banking transformation
• Mentor operational teams and strengthen performance culture across banking service functions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline
• 6+ years of experience in banking operations, fintech banking services, or digital financial services environments
• Strong understanding of payment systems, customer account operations, settlements, and reconciliation frameworks
• Experience in retail banking, digital banking platforms, or enterprise financial operations
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, audit controls, and operational risk management
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capability
• Excellent reporting, process improvement, and customer service management skills
• Professional certifications in banking operations, payments, or compliance are advantageous
