A leading opportunity for a fintech technologist with a passion for re-engineering financial infrastructure in the rapidly digitizing Qatari economy. The role focuses on architecting secure, scalable, and interoperable digital payment and asset management systems, harmonizing with Qatar’s ambition to be a global fintech innovation hub.
Role Summary
The Senior Digital Assets & Payments Infrastructure Architect will design and operationalize core fintech frameworks integrating real-time payments, tokenized asset settlement, and open banking interoperability layers. This role requires deep proficiency in payment infrastructure design, distributed ledger technology (DLT), and multi-rail payment orchestration within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities

Architect multi-tier digital payment ecosystems supporting instant payments and digital wallets.

Integrate blockchain-based asset settlement frameworks compatible with central and private banking systems.

Lead technical design for interoperable payment APIs compliant with ISO 20022 messaging standards.

Engineer cybersecurity safeguards across payment data flows, including encryption, tokenization, and key management.

Collaborate with fintech partners to design smart contract frameworks for programmable finance.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Financial Systems Technology.

7–10 years’ experience in fintech infrastructure, payment gateway design, or blockchain architecture.

Proficiency in distributed ledger technologies (Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda).

Knowledge of cross-border payment standards (SWIFT GPI, RippleNet, BIS frameworks).

Experience implementing high-availability microservice architectures in cloud environments.
