A Senior DeFi Risk & Compliance Analyst is required to monitor on-chain activity, assess protocol risk exposure, and ensure compliance alignment within decentralized ecosystems.

Core Mission

To ensure DeFi ecosystems operate safely by maintaining:

• Continuous on-chain risk monitoring
• Compliance alignment for decentralized protocols
• Detection of governance and transaction anomalies

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Chain Risk Monitoring

• Analyze blockchain transactions and smart contract interactions.
• Identify abnormal governance behavior or suspicious wallet activity.
• Monitor liquidity movements across DeFi protocols.

2. DeFi Compliance Analysis

• Evaluate decentralized protocols for compliance risk exposure.
• Map governance actions to potential regulatory implications.
• Support AML-related analysis in decentralized environments.

3. Protocol Behavior Analysis

• Study token flows, staking mechanisms, and liquidity pools.
• Detect vulnerabilities in governance or incentive structures.
• Provide risk assessments for protocol upgrades or changes.

4. Reporting & Intelligence

• Generate risk reports on DeFi ecosystem activity.
• Provide insights into governance participation and protocol health.
• Support internal compliance and audit requirements.

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Blockchain analytics tools (on-chain data interpretation)
• Understanding of DeFi protocols and smart contracts
• SQL and data analysis tools
• Risk modeling and compliance frameworks

Candidate Profile

• 5–9+ years in compliance, blockchain analysis, or fintech risk roles
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Experience with DeFi or crypto ecosystems preferred
• Understanding of financial crime risk frameworks
