A rapidly expanding financial technology institution operating across advanced digital finance ecosystems is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer – Digital Asset Payments & Financial Networks to design, build, and optimize secure blockchain-powered financial systems supporting next-generation payment rails, cross-border transaction frameworks, institutional digital asset operations, and tokenized financial infrastructure.

This role is designed for an elite blockchain engineer who understands that distributed ledger technology is no longer experimental—it is becoming a strategic foundation for secure settlements, programmable payments, treasury optimization, asset tokenization, and institutional transaction transparency.

The successful professional will lead the engineering of blockchain solutions across payment orchestration, smart contract-based financial products, stablecoin settlement frameworks, wallet security architecture, enterprise node infrastructure, and API-led blockchain integrations for regulated financial environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop blockchain infrastructure supporting digital payments, asset tokenization, treasury settlements, and programmable finance operations

• Build and optimize secure smart contracts for institutional financial workflows, token issuance frameworks, payment automation, and transaction governance

• Develop scalable backend services connecting blockchain networks with internal banking systems, treasury operations, and payment platforms

• Architect secure wallet infrastructure, custody workflows, key management systems, and transaction authorization protocols

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, product, treasury, and platform engineering teams to ensure secure and compliant blockchain delivery

• Strengthen blockchain observability, node performance, fault tolerance, and operational resilience across enterprise transaction environments

• Support integrations involving Ethereum-compatible systems, private blockchain frameworks, Layer-2 solutions, and institutional settlement networks

• Improve financial reporting visibility across on-chain and off-chain operations while maintaining audit-ready engineering standards

• Conduct architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and long-term blockchain modernization planning

• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to enterprise blockchain governance standards

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline

• 5–8+ years of backend engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on blockchain development within fintech, payments, or digital financial services

• Strong expertise in Solidity, Rust, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Node.js

• Experience building smart contracts, blockchain APIs, distributed systems, and financial transaction platforms

• Strong understanding of Ethereum, EVM ecosystems, Layer-2 networks, private chains, and digital asset infrastructure

• Familiarity with wallet architecture, custody security, cryptographic systems, and financial compliance controls

• Strong problem-solving ability in high-volume transaction and mission-critical engineering environments
