About the Opportunity
A fast-growing fintech innovation programme is recruiting a Senior Blockchain Application Developer to build secure, enterprise-grade blockchain applications that support digital financial products, tokenised assets, and distributed financial services.
You will work alongside product architects, security engineers, and cloud specialists to deliver scalable blockchain solutions with a focus on performance, security, and regulatory readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design and develop blockchain-based financial applications.
- Build secure smart contracts.
- Develop APIs connecting blockchain networks with enterprise systems.
- Optimise blockchain transaction performance.
- Maintain application security and integrity.
Engineering Excellence
- Perform peer code reviews.
- Write automated unit and integration tests.
- Improve platform scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues.
- Maintain engineering documentation.
Innovation
- Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies.
- Recommend architecture improvements.
- Contribute to technical research initiatives.
- Support product innovation roadmaps.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years building blockchain applications.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
