Your Core Mission

To architect and deliver backend systems that enable:

• Instant payment processing

What You Will Engineer

1. High-Throughput Payment Processing Systems

• Design backend services capable of handling thousands of concurrent transactions.
• Build transaction pipelines supporting authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Ensure idempotency and consistency across all payment operations.

2. Distributed Systems Architecture

• Develop microservices-based architectures for financial workflows.
• Implement event-driven systems using message brokers for asynchronous processing.
• Design fault-tolerant systems with retry mechanisms and graceful degradation.

3. Ledger & Financial Data Integrity

• Build double-entry ledger systems ensuring accuracy and auditability.
• Implement reconciliation processes between internal systems and external networks.
• Maintain strict consistency across financial records.

4. Performance & Scalability Optimization

• Optimize database queries and transaction processing pipelines.
• Implement caching strategies and load balancing techniques.
• Monitor and improve system latency and throughput.

5. Security & Compliance

• Apply secure coding practices for handling sensitive financial data.
• Implement encryption and authentication mechanisms.
• Ensure alignment with financial regulatory requirements.

Technology Stack

• Languages: Java (Spring Boot), Go, or Kotlin
• Architecture: Microservices, Event-driven systems
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker

Ideal Candidate

• 5–9+ years in backend engineering
• Experience building scalable systems in fintech or payments
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and concurrency
• Familiarity with financial transaction systems is highly preferred
