Role Overview

The Remote Senior Architect of Digital Asset Governance & Tokenized Capital Markets will oversee the structural design of a regulatory-aligned digital asset ecosystem for Bahrain’s rapidly modernizing financial sector. This role demands advanced understanding of token issuance workflows, digital securities frameworks, cross-chain settlement, institutional-grade custody, and sovereign-aligned capital market modernization. The position requires a dual strategic-technical orientation, blending high-level market governance with deep protocol engineering.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end tokenization architectures for funds, debt instruments, real-world assets, and digital securities aligned with Bahrain’s capital market modernization frameworks.

• Engineer institutional custody environments utilizing MPC-based key management, secure enclaves, hardware-rooted trust layers, and configurable governance thresholds.

• Develop a compliance-first digital asset lifecycle model incorporating issuance, registration, trading, settlement, redemption, and multi-entity custodial oversight.

• Build bridging frameworks enabling seamless interoperability between permissioned DLT systems, public blockchains, and regulated digital securities networks.

• Construct advanced investor risk assessment engines, on-chain surveillance tools, and AI-driven behavioural analytics for real-time compliance monitoring.

• Benchmark governance frameworks against global regulatory regimes, ensuring alignment with international tokenization standards and supervisory expectations.

• Oversee the integration of digital asset analytics, liquidity modelling, automated valuation engines, and institutional-grade risk intelligence.

Technical Requirements

• Deep specialization in blockchain protocols, smart contract engineering, cryptographic security, and regulated digital securities infrastructure.

• Strong command of Bahrain’s regulatory frameworks covering digital assets, investment governance, supervisory controls, and cross-border capital flows.

• Experience designing high-availability, regulator-ready digital asset platforms with strong operational resilience.

• Proficiency in AI-driven analytics, cross-chain communication protocols, and financial data engineering.
