Role Purpose

The Remote Senior Architect for Intelligent Payment Networks & Embedded Merchant Finance will advance Oman’s digital payments framework by combining real-time payment intelligence, merchant-focused embedded finance, dynamic settlement controls, and cross-platform commerce integration. The role requires a high level of technical sophistication and strategic depth in payment engineering and SME digital enablement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Real-Time Intelligent Payments Infrastructure
  
  Build multi-rail payment networks supporting instant authorization, smart fraud detection, transaction enrichment, adaptive routing, and dynamic risk-weighted settlement sequencing.

• Embedded Merchant Finance Architecture
  
  Develop embedded finance modules including on-demand liquidity, merchant credit scoring models, dynamic invoice factoring, micro-lending orchestration, and integrated repayment logic.

• Merchant Data Intelligence & Behavioral Analytics
  
  Construct analytics layers capturing merchant performance metrics, operational health indicators, pricing sensitivity, channel mix efficiency, and compliance-relevant activity patterns.

• Adaptive Settlement & Risk Governance Systems
  
  Deploy autonomous risk filters, multi-tier settlement decisioning, cross-channel transaction verification, and anomaly-triggered compliance escalation.

• Oman-Aligned Payment Governance
  
  Implement transparent audit layers, policy-directed data flows, and regulatory reporting pipelines fully aligned with Oman’s financial supervisory principles.

Technical Expertise Required

• Deep knowledge of payment systems, embedded finance, merchant ecosystem analytics, cloud-native financial engineering, and ML-based risk analysis.

• Strong expertise in constructing scalable transaction platforms and SME-focused financial intelligence tools.
