Position Summary

Qatar’s financial sector is accelerating towards hyper-integrated, API-driven financial ecosystems capable of supporting embedded finance, distributed commercial workflows, and institutional-grade market connectivity.

This senior role oversees the entire ecosystem architecture—from API governance and orchestration design to intelligent workflow automation and platform interoperability.

The Architect will structure digital finance connectivity blueprints linking banks, fintechs, corporate entities, regulatory systems, and global market interfaces.

Primary Areas of Accountability

1. API Ecosystem Engineering & Connectivity Frameworks

• Construct enterprise-grade API standards, versioning structures, security models, and operational governance frameworks.

• Build multi-layered connectivity patterns enabling secure data exchange, workflow integration, and cross-platform orchestration.

2. Embedded Finance Architecture

• Develop embedded finance modules supporting onboarding, credit decisioning, transaction initiation, automated reconciliation, and account services.

• Engineer intelligent workflows leveraging rule engines, event streams, and predictive analytics.

3. Multi-Institution Integration & Market Expansion

• Model connectivity options for multi-bank ecosystems, financial marketplaces, and regional economic platforms.

• Design cross-border integration pathways and harmonized communication protocols.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in API architecture, financial integration, embedded finance, or enterprise fintech design.

• Strong expertise in event-driven systems, workflow automation, and ecosystem-level technical governance.

• Understanding of GCC integration, payments modernization, and financial-infrastructure strategies.
