Position Overview
A reputable organization is seeking a highly vigilant Security Operations Specialist to safeguard people, facilities, and critical business assets through effective security operations and proactive risk management. The successful candidate will coordinate daily security activities, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with organizational security standards while contributing to a safe and secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily security operations across assigned facilities.
- Conduct routine security patrols and risk assessments.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control platforms.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Investigate incidents and prepare comprehensive security reports.
- Enforce organizational security policies and access procedures.
- Coordinate with emergency services and internal stakeholders during incidents.
- Support emergency preparedness and evacuation exercises.
- Maintain accurate security logs and operational documentation.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in training security personnel on operational procedures.
- Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and security awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in security operations or facility protection.
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and incident management systems.
- Strong observational and investigative skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts when required.
