Position Overview
This high-impact remote role seeks a Senior Fintech Infrastructure Strategist to lead the conceptualization and architectural design of next-generation financial infrastructure across the UAE’s rapidly evolving digital economy. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of cloud-native fintech ecosystems, decentralized financial interoperability, and regulatory-grade data orchestration frameworks.
The role demands a seasoned strategist capable of architecting cloud-based fintech ecosystems that align with the Central Bank of the UAE’s digital transformation agenda, focusing on secure payments interoperability, open banking frameworks, and API-driven value chains.
Key Responsibilities

Architect scalable, API-first fintech platforms that support cross-border digital payment ecosystems and digital asset interoperability.

Develop strategies for regulatory compliance automation across AML, CFT, and KYC processes using advanced AI and machine learning frameworks.

Lead digital infrastructure modernization initiatives leveraging multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.

Spearhead initiatives in digital wallet architecture, biometric security integration, and real-time transaction governance.

Align global fintech models with UAE’s financial innovation frameworks under the DIFC and ADGM ecosystems.

Oversee integrations with regional open finance protocols, sandbox ecosystems, and tokenized payment infrastructures.
Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Financial Technology, or Systems Architecture.

10+ years of experience in fintech architecture, digital payments, or financial engineering.

Deep knowledge of blockchain frameworks, ISO 20022 standards, and data compliance regulations in the GCC.

Proven ability to lead multi-regional fintech initiatives across financial regulatory landscapes.
Preferred Expertise

Experience in CBDC integration, tokenization protocols, and RegTech automation.

Familiarity with UAE’s financial innovation hubs (DIFC Fintech Hive, ADGM Digital Lab).
