Overview:
Saudi Arabia seeks a Lead Theoretician of Algorithmic Capital & Systemic Governance to construct mathematically rigorous frameworks for decentralized financial networks, integrating stochastic PDEs, high-dimensional measure-theoretic probability, category theory, homotopy type theory, and AI-driven systemic reasoning. The position formalizes risk, liquidity, contract interdependencies, and governance protocols across tokenized markets, producing operationally robust, provably coherent fintech architectures.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop formal ontologies for digital assets, counterparties, and governance protocols, enabling automated reasoning about systemic risk and compliance.

Model capital flows, liquidity shocks, and contagion effects using stochastic PDEs, network theory, and tensor-based high-dimensional simulations.

Apply category-theoretic and homotopy type-theoretic abstractions to encode dependencies among contracts, settlements, and liquidity networks.

Design AI-assisted governance engines capable of reasoning about emergent systemic risk, validating protocol invariants, and executing contingency strategies.

Collaborate with engineers to embed formal proofs into smart contracts, automated settlements, and regulatory compliance engines.
Required Expertise:

PhD or equivalent in Formal Logic, Computational Finance, Applied Mathematics, or Ontological Engineering.

Mastery of stochastic processes, nonlinear PDEs, high-dimensional networked risk modeling.

Proficiency in Haskell, Python, Coq/Lean, and blockchain frameworks.
