About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a Lead Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer based in Oman to take ownership of the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade blockchain-enabled financial networks tailored for the GCC cross-border fintech corridor.
You will build from the ground up decentralized payment rails and tokenized settlements for regional fintech operators, under full compliance with CMA Oman’s tech licensing framework and CBFS (Capital Market Authority) innovation sandbox protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:

Architect core modules for smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and ledger synchronization.

Design hybrid DLT platforms (private-public crossovers) compatible with ISO 20022 payment message standards.

Lead the implementation of secure, auditable APIs integrating CBDC-friendly protocols and digital wallets.

Oversee engineering sprint cycles with emphasis on code security, reliability, and modularity.

Collaborate with DevOps to maintain CI/CD pipelines optimized for smart contract deployment.

Evaluate and implement scalable solutions using Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or Avalanche chains.

Define system auditability, real-time reconciliation logic, and multi-party settlement protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:

6+ years in backend development; 3+ years dedicated to blockchain or Web3 stack development.

Hands-on with Solidity, Go, Rust, or TypeScript-based blockchain frameworks.

Strong grasp of zero-knowledge proofs, oracles, and cryptographic hash functions.

Prior exposure to fintech regulations under CMA Oman or CBFS sandbox highly desirable.

BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent.

Experience designing token economies or regulated utility coins.

Contributions to open-source blockchain financial protocols.

Familiarity with Oman’s financial regulations, particularly in fintech asset tokenization.
