Project Vision
Oman is repositioning itself as a key global hub for sustainable Islamic finance by championing tokenized sukuk and ESG-screened investment structures. This visionary role involves building a blockchain-powered sukuk platform, where investors, regulators, and issuers can monitor, verify, and enforce faith-aligned, sustainability-verified asset management—all through a smart contract layer integrated with IoT sensors, carbon credits, and Shariah logic engines.
Core Responsibilities

Build an enterprise-grade tokenized sukuk platform supporting primary issuance, tradability, secondary markets, and ESG compliance overlays.

Design embedded Shariah compliance validators that auto-check assets, contracts, and fund flows against dynamic ethical investment rules.

Integrate IoT oracles (smart meters, carbon tracking APIs, halal certification feeds) to ensure ESG-linked sukuk usage conditions are enforced on-chain.

Develop a public-private ESG smart audit ledger with customizable dashboards for institutional sukuk holders and faith-based asset managers.

Liaise with the Capital Market Authority (CMA), Shariah Boards, and sovereign wealth fund stakeholders to define acceptable use-case parameters.

Collaborate with global green finance networks (UN PRI, Islamic Development Bank, etc.) to tokenize renewable energy sukuk and affordable housing infrastructure instruments.

Create Arabic-English multi-device interfaces for both institutional and retail investors, including AI chat-based investment literacy companions.
Required Background

12+ years in Islamic finance, tokenization infrastructure, or ESG investment platforms.

Mastery of sukuk structuring and governance, with experience in blockchain-backed debt instruments or asset fractionalization.

Strong knowledge of sustainability taxonomies (EU, GCC, UN), carbon credit lifecycle mechanics, and renewable energy infrastructure.

Advanced experience with smart contract languages (Solidity, Vyper), oracle integration (Chainlink, W3C DID), and Islamic ethical jurisprudence.

Fluency in interfacing with Shariah Supervisory Boards, fintech accelerators, and policy-making bodies.
