Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end digital payment infrastructures, spanning real-time payments, embedded finance, and open API-driven integrations.

• Collaborate with regulators and international partners to align UAE’s payment standards with ISO 20022, digital identity frameworks, and tokenization mandates.

• Drive strategic initiatives in central bank digital currency pilots, enabling cross-border interoperability with global financial systems.

• Introduce biometric and AI-based fraud prevention frameworks for retail and institutional financial ecosystems.

• Lead stakeholder engagement with banks, fintech innovators, and government entities to foster scalable, inclusive, and globally benchmarked payment models.

Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of senior leadership in payments, fintech architecture, or digital infrastructure.

• Strong expertise in blockchain settlement, real-time payment networks, and open banking ecosystems.

• Deep knowledge of UAE financial regulatory frameworks and international compliance standards.

• Graduate degree in finance, technology, or economics; specialized certifications in fintech/payments highly valued.
