Role Overview
Oman is rapidly embracing blockchain and decentralized finance to enhance transparency, security, and programmability within its financial sector. The Remote Head of Blockchain & Digital Asset Architecture will lead the development of enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructures, enabling tokenized assets, smart contract frameworks, and cross-chain interoperability.
Key Responsibilities

Architect scalable blockchain ecosystems for tokenized securities, digital asset custody, and decentralized financial operations.

Design smart contract frameworks for programmable payments, lending, and compliance automation.

Lead research and development for consensus mechanisms, interoperability solutions, and blockchain security protocols.

Develop governance models for decentralized financial systems aligned with global regulatory standards.

Collaborate with GCC regulatory bodies and international standards organizations to ensure secure, transparent adoption of blockchain technology.

Guide cross-functional, globally distributed teams in building resilient and scalable digital asset infrastructure.
Qualifications

Advanced degree in Blockchain Engineering, Computer Science, or Financial Systems Design.

10+ years in fintech innovation, with 5+ years leading blockchain or DeFi architecture projects.

Expertise in Solidity, Rust, Hyperledger Fabric, or enterprise blockchain frameworks.

Deep understanding of decentralized finance, tokenomics, and digital asset regulatory compliance.
