Strategic Intent of the Role
This role is conceived for a senior fintech authority entrusted with shaping the structural integrity, scalability, and long-term resilience of global digital payment infrastructures. It addresses the increasing complexity of transaction ecosystems where real-time payments, multi-currency settlement, and distributed financial services converge under demanding performance and reliability expectations.
Operating remotely while aligned with Dubai’s role as a global financial nexus, the Principal will influence how transaction systems are designed at scale—ensuring architectural coherence across payment initiation, routing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and post-transaction intelligence layers.
Scope of Authority & Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end digital payments ecosystems, covering transaction initiation, authorisation, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting layers

Design high-throughput transaction orchestration frameworks optimised for low latency, fault tolerance, and systemic resilience

Establish scalable models for real-time payment rails, wallet infrastructures, and programmable payment components

Define long-term architectural standards governing transaction integrity, system redundancy, and operational continuity

Lead the evolution of payment infrastructure roadmaps aligned with global fintech innovation trajectories

Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, data, and financial operations professionals to ensure architectural alignment
Professional Background & Competency Expectations

12–20 years of experience in fintech, payments infrastructure, or large-scale financial systems engineering

Deep mastery of payment lifecycles, settlement logic, and transaction-routing architectures

Advanced expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and event-driven processing models

Proven experience designing payment systems operating across international, multi-currency environments

Exceptional analytical depth, documentation discipline, and remote collaboration maturity
Compensation & Engagement Structure

Annual Compensation Range: AED 560,000 – 860,000 (tax-free)
