Strategic Role Definition
This role is designed for a fintech infrastructure leader responsible for the architecture, governance, and evolution of digital asset platforms and modern financial market systems. The position blends capital markets logic, distributed systems architecture, and platform governance into a single strategic mandate.
The successful candidate will architect systems that support digital asset issuance, custody, trading, settlement, and lifecycle management, while maintaining institutional-grade performance and international market compatibility.
Core Strategic Mandate & Scope

Architect digital asset platform ecosystems, including custody frameworks, transaction validation logic, and settlement engines.

Design market infrastructure systems supporting high-frequency transaction processing and asset lifecycle automation.

Define governance models for digital asset platforms, including access control, transparency, and operational oversight.

Lead architectural decisions around token lifecycle management, valuation engines, and portfolio analytics systems.

Establish platform resilience strategies for extreme market volatility and transactional surges.

Collaborate with engineering leaders to implement scalable, modular, and future-proof infrastructure designs.

Act as strategic steward for long-term digital market infrastructure evolution.
Executive Technical Profile

13+ years in financial market infrastructure, digital asset systems, or fintech platform architecture.

Advanced understanding of distributed systems, market microstructure, and asset lifecycle engineering.

Strong experience designing mission-critical financial platforms with institutional performance requirements.

Ability to translate complex market mechanics into robust technical architectures.

GCC and international capital markets exposure strongly preferred.
Remote Compensation Framework (Bahrain Benchmarking)

Base Annual Compensation: BHD 90,000 – BHD 115,000

Annual Strategic Performance Incentive: BHD 18,000 – BHD 30,000

Long-Term Platform Value Incentive: BHD 22,000 – BHD 35,000

Total Annual Compensation Range: BHD 130,000 – BHD 180,000
