Role Summary

As fintech ecosystems expand, compliance infrastructures must evolve. Kuwait requires a visionary Executive Director of AI-Enhanced RegTech & Compliance Engineering to redefine how regulatory intelligence, real-time surveillance, and AML/CFT frameworks operate in digital finance.

Key Deliverables

• Architect AI-driven RegTech ecosystems capable of real-time transaction monitoring, predictive compliance, and automated regulatory reporting.

• Oversee development of machine learning engines for AML anomaly detection, sanctions screening, and cross-border fraud risk scoring.

• Collaborate with regulators to pilot next-gen supervisory technologies (SupTech) within Kuwait’s financial sector.

• Develop regulatory interoperability protocols, ensuring compliance across GCC and international jurisdictions.

• Integrate privacy-preserving computation models to balance data sharing, compliance, and consumer protection.

• Drive adoption of compliance automation platforms that serve retail banking, digital payments, and institutional fintech.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12–18 years in financial compliance, RegTech innovation, or digital supervision.

• Strong academic foundation in Data Science, Law & Finance, or Computational Risk Management.

• Proven leadership in enterprise-scale compliance transformation projects.

• Deep understanding of AML/CFT frameworks, FATF recommendations, and Basel regulatory standards.

• Technical command of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) applied to regulatory domains.
