Role Overview:
We are recruiting a Director of Payments Strategy & Financial Intelligence to lead Qatar’s next-generation payment systems and advanced financial intelligence initiatives. This role focuses on leveraging AI, machine learning, and blockchain for secure, efficient cross-border transactions and predictive risk management.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy scalable, secure digital payment infrastructures for retail, corporate, and institutional clients.

Integrate AI/ML and predictive analytics for fraud detection, operational intelligence, and risk optimization.

Collaborate with Qatar Central Bank and fintech partners to ensure regulatory compliance.

Lead remote teams delivering actionable insights, operational efficiency, and innovative financial products.

Monitor emerging fintech technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Skills:

Advanced degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, or related discipline.

12+ years of experience in payments, fintech strategy, or financial analytics leadership.

Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, AML/KYC, and compliance frameworks.

Proven experience in managing distributed international teams.

Exceptional analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
