Position Overview
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rapidly evolving as a fintech innovation leader. The Director of Digital Payment Systems will design and deploy secure, scalable, and interoperable payment infrastructures across the Kingdom and the GCC. This senior role demands deep expertise in real-time payment architectures, regulatory compliance, and cutting-edge fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and deploy next-generation payment systems incorporating ISO 20022 messaging, instant settlement frameworks, and cross-border clearing protocols.

Integrate AI-enabled fraud detection, automated KYC/AML compliance, and programmable payment mechanisms.

Partner with GCC regulators, banks, and fintech innovators to advance payment interoperability.

Establish robust governance, compliance, and risk mitigation frameworks.

Drive R&D on tokenized payments and blockchain-enabled finance models.
Qualifications

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Technology Management, or related discipline.

12+ years in digital payment architecture or fintech infrastructure leadership.

Deep understanding of GCC and KSA payment regulatory frameworks.

Proven expertise in cloud-native banking platforms and blockchain-based payment solutions.
