Saudi Arabia is undergoing a profound financial sector transformation, advancing toward open finance ecosystems, digital-first banking, and cross-sector API integration. We are seeking a Remote Chief Open Finance Architect to design, implement, and scale secure open finance platforms that enable data-driven innovation, ecosystem collaboration, and enhanced customer experiences.
Responsibilities

Define and execute open finance strategies compliant with Saudi Central Bank regulations and international standards (PSD2, ISO 20022).

Lead design of API frameworks for account aggregation, payment initiation, and third-party integration.

Oversee governance models for data consent, security, and interoperability.

Collaborate with banks, fintechs, and ecosystem partners to scale digital services.

Ensure robust cybersecurity and risk management across open finance platforms.

Monitor global trends in open banking and open finance evolution to adapt best practices to Saudi Arabia.
Requirements

Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Digital Transformation.

10+ years of fintech experience, including leadership in open banking/finance projects.

Strong understanding of API-driven ecosystems and RegTech frameworks.

In-depth knowledge of Saudi financial market and GCC regulatory environment.

Proven expertise in digital identity, KYC/AML systems, and cybersecurity protocols.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior leadership in multinational open banking deployments.

Arabic proficiency desirable; English fluency required.
