Position Overview
The Chief Digital Finance Architect will define and implement Qatar’s next-generation digital finance infrastructure, integrating open banking, cloud-native financial ecosystems, and AI-driven payments architecture. The role focuses on building a scalable, interoperable, and data-secure fintech framework aligned with international banking standards and GCC-wide interoperability protocols.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the strategic development of national digital finance architecture, embedding cloud-native technologies and AI orchestration.

Build and operationalize API-driven payment ecosystems with end-to-end encryption and data transparency.

Oversee open banking enablement, ensuring seamless integration of third-party fintech partners and institutions.

Define architecture for instant cross-border transactions and settlement mechanisms aligned with ISO 20022 standards.

Develop AI-assisted risk and compliance modules, enabling predictive governance and fraud prevention.

Collaborate with regulators and technology councils to establish future-ready fintech infrastructure policies.
Candidate Profile

Master’s or Ph.D. in Financial Technology, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.

12+ years in fintech architecture, open banking systems, or large-scale payments infrastructure.

Expertise in cloud architecture, API banking, and financial data interoperability.

Deep understanding of Qatar’s digital transformation frameworks and GCC fintech regulatory harmonization.

Proven success leading cross-border digital financial integration projects.
