THE MANDATE
We are seeking a visionary Principal to architect the next generation of intelligent financial infrastructure.
This position sits at the convergence of artificial intelligence, payment technology, financial data, digital banking and strategic innovation. The successful candidate will be entrusted with transforming complex financial challenges into scalable technology and commercially viable solutions.
The role demands considerably more than technical competence. It requires the ability to understand how capital flows, payment networks, customer behaviour, financial data and emerging technologies interact within a modern financial ecosystem.
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITY
The Principal will lead high-value initiatives involving:

AI-driven financial intelligence and predictive analytics.

Intelligent payment-routing and transaction-orchestration systems.

Digital banking infrastructure and API ecosystems.

Financial data platforms and real-time analytics.

Fraud, anomaly and transaction-risk intelligence.

Digital identity and customer intelligence.

Blockchain-enabled financial infrastructure.

Automated financial decision engines.

Cloud-native fintech architecture.

Strategic technology modernization.
THE INTELLIGENCE LAYER
A major component of the mandate will involve developing frameworks that allow financial systems to move from reactive processing to predictive intelligence.
The successful professional will evaluate how machine learning can improve:
Transaction forecasting → Fraud detection → Customer segmentation → Liquidity intelligence → Credit assessment → Revenue optimization → Operational automation
The objective is not simply to introduce AI, but to identify where intelligence produces measurable financial and operational value.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Ideal candidates will bring:

10+ years of experience in fintech, financial technology, banking technology or enterprise transformation.

Advanced understanding of payments and financial platforms.

Strong experience with AI, analytics or intelligent automation.

Knowledge of APIs, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

Strong commercial and strategic judgment.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex technology programmes.

Excellent executive communication skills.

International or GCC experience preferred.
