Role Mandate
This position is designed for a senior-level fintech professional specializing in AI-driven financial risk intelligence, algorithmic governance, and advanced analytics frameworks, aligned with the UAE’s rapidly evolving digital finance landscape.
The role focuses on building, governing, and scaling intelligent risk systems that support digital banking platforms, embedded finance solutions, and high-velocity transaction environments. It is both deeply technical and strategically policy-oriented, requiring mastery of AI governance, financial risk modeling, and data ethics at scale.
Strategic Scope & Responsibilities

Design and govern AI-powered risk intelligence frameworks covering credit risk, transaction risk, behavioral analytics, and financial crime detection.

Architect machine-learning lifecycle governance models, ensuring explainability, auditability, and regulatory defensibility of financial algorithms.

Lead development of real-time risk scoring engines integrated across digital channels and financial products.

Define standards for model validation, bias mitigation, data lineage, and AI decision transparency.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary stakeholders on data governance, financial analytics strategy, and AI ethics frameworks.

Advise on the integration of advanced analytics into digital payments, lending platforms, and wealth-tech solutions.

Produce executive-level insights on emerging AI risks, regulatory expectations, and future-proof analytics architectures.
Required Expertise

12+ years of experience across fintech analytics, financial risk modeling, or AI-driven financial systems.

Strong command of machine learning frameworks, model governance structures, and large-scale data architectures.

Proven experience designing explainable AI (XAI) systems within regulated financial environments.

Ability to operate at the intersection of technology, regulation, and executive decision-making.
