Strategic Mandate
The Financial Data Platforms & Interoperability Architect is responsible for designing the foundational data architectures that enable financial systems to exchange, interpret, and act on information across institutional and technological boundaries.
This role focuses on data standardisation, interoperability logic, and platform coherence, ensuring financial ecosystems can support advanced analytics, open finance initiatives, and cross-platform intelligence without fragmentation or integrity loss.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect interoperable financial data platforms across banking, payments, and fintech systems

Define data standards, exchange models, and system-to-system integration frameworks

Evaluate emerging data technologies including real-time pipelines, semantic layers, and API ecosystems

Assess data governance, lineage, and integrity risks at ecosystem scale

Produce executive-grade data architecture papers, interoperability blueprints, and strategic roadmaps

Advise international stakeholders on scalable financial data platform design

Guide long-term evolution of intelligence-ready financial data ecosystems
Required Expertise

Deep experience in financial data architecture, interoperability frameworks, or platform design

Strong understanding of data governance, standardisation, and cross-system integration

Ability to communicate complex data architectures at executive level

Proven capacity for independent, principal-level leadership
